- CURE 20th Annual Meeting

- CURE's 20th annual meeting was held in downtown Montevideo Saturday. Around 300 people attended the event, which ran all afternoon and evening. Funds were raised for the project through ticket sales, a silent auction and a canoe raffle. During the banquet, CURE announced the recipients of various awards, including the River Keeper Award.
