The Montevideo tennis team improved its record to 9-4 by defeating all three opponents in a quadrangular at Marshall Saturday.


The Montevideo tennis team improved its record to 9-4 by defeating all three opponents in a quadrangular at Marshall Saturday.

The Thunder Hawks shut out Morris Area and Worthington by 7-0 scores and the T-Hawks downed Marshall by a 5-2 margin.

Catherine Haugen, Sier­ra Frazier and Kim Botkin won all three of their singles matches, and Jennessa Runia was 2-1.

Alexa Frazier and Tori Jarman, at No. 1 doubles, and Chelsie McCormick and Rose Reinert were 3-0, and Lyndsey Moe and Froya Olson went 2-1.

The T-Hawks have home matches against Minne­waska today (Thursday) and Yellow Medicine East Tuesday — teams they have already beaten this season. Montevideo will travel to Morris Monday for a makeup match.
