A stubborn 10 pin in the fourth frame is all that kept Todd Koehler from bowling a perfect game last Wednesday night. Eleven strikes in the second game gave Todd the big 279 game and a 630 series. The big game will be tough to beat all season long.

Ardy Albrecht, the oldest league bowler at Mel’ody Lanes, started another season on Tuesday nights. Ardy has enjoyed league bowling for well over 50 years. She is 88 years young.

Lori Bouska’s funeral was on Monday. Lori enjoyed league bowling for many years and had many achievements.

As most of you know, Bob Jorgenson died last month and he, too, will be missed on league nights. Bob bowled a 299 when he was 79 years old.

Again, I wish to thank all the league bowlers for their support.
