The annual Montevideo Area Community Foundation mini-grant awards ceremony was held on Monday night during Business After Hours at The Crossings in Montevideo.


The annual Montevideo Area Community Foundation mini-grant awards ceremony was held on Monday night during Business After Hours at The Crossings in Montevideo.

In the spirit of the holiday season, the awards were aimed at helping projects and organizations that facilitate community life and volunteerism in the community.

The Montevideo Area Commu­nity Foundation donated $500 to Chippewa Enterprises, $500 to the Chippewa County 4-H, $500 to the high school special education transition classes, $1,000 to the Living at Home Block Nurse Program from Granite Falls, $1,300 for Mary Sue Kruger’s elementary music programs and $1,680 to the Chippewa Valley Youth Club.

The event was sponsored by Rekow Management LLC and the Montevideo Area Chamber of Commerce.
