  • Racing fans enjoy double features

  • With last week’s features being rained out, the fans were treated to extra racing at Fiesta City Speedway on Friday.  The make-up features were the first races of the night, followed by the regular race program.

  • With last week’s features being rained out, the fans were treated to extra racing at Fiesta City Speedway on Friday.  The make-up features were the first races of the night, followed by the regular race program.
    Jeremy Grinager passed Jon Tollakson on lap five to win the Pure Stock make-up feature.
    Ryan Buer held off Justin Schneider to win the WISSOTA Mod IV make-up feature.  
    Mike Jans held off Brandon Jacobson to win the WISSOTA Street Stock feature.
    Cory Tammen led the WISSOTA Super Stock make-up feature flag to flag for his first win of the year.
    Tim Ims got his first win at Fiesta City Speedway as he led all 16 laps of the WISSOTA Midwest Modi­fied make-up feature.
    There was not a make-up feature for WISSOTA?Late Models, as that race will be held Aug. 17, with $2,000 going to the winner.  
    Jon Tollakson took the lead from Jason Lowry two laps into the Pure Stock feature. Tollakson held off Jeremy Grinager to get his first win at Fiesta City Speedway.
    Tyler Larson took the lead from Jim Kanten two laps into the WISSOTA Mod IV feature. Larson would lead the rest of the way for his second win of the year.
    Corey Giesinger took the lead to start the WISSOTA Street Stock feature.  After a caution on lap four, Brandon Jacobson took over the top spot and went on to win his first feature of the season.  
    Jeff Flaten dominated the WISSOTA Super Stock feature for his first win of the season.  
    Tim Kanten took the lead from Scott Sroufe on the first lap of the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. After a caution on lap five, Brian Haben took the lead from Kanten and went on to win his third feature of the season.
    Rick Schroeder took the lead at the beginning of the WISSOTA Late Model feature. Near the halfway point of the race, Jeff Wildung took the lead from Schroeder and had to hold off Don Shaw for his first win of the season.
    Next week is Bike Night sponsored by Apol’s Harley-Davidson and Adams Motor Company.  Races start at 7 p.m.
