VFW team loses to Alexandria

Alexandria’s No. 2 team scored seven runs in the seventh inning to defeat Montevideo 12-5 in VFW baseball here on Tuesday.

Ricky Schmitz had three hits for Post 380. Zac Enevoldsen had a pair of hits, and Logan Knoshal, Markus Kranz, Jordan Jensen and Andrew Peters also hit safely.

Montevideo’s next game will be on Friday on the road against Willmar’s No. 2 team.
