    Tuesday evening the Montevideo Police Department held a public information meeting about Sheen Jamale Newton, a Level 3 predatory offender to be released Thurs-day, July 26.
    He will be moving to the 500 block of North Fourth Street. Officials from the Department of Corrections explained Newton will be under constant supervision for 10 years, but asked residents to have their eyes open and be aware.
    LEOs to hold car wash fundraiser
    The Montevideo LEOs youth club will be holding a car wash fundraiser in the parking lot at Bill’s Supermarket on Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The LEOs will also be selling brats and hot dogs.
