The Montevideo VFW baseball team won a “plan-in” game in the District 5 tournament by a 9-3 score over Madison here Friday.
Spencer Hildahl pitched the first six innings to get the win, with Tristan Weber finishing up.
Andrew Peters went 2-for-4 with a double, triple and two RBI, and Jordan Thompson was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.
Post 380 lost 9-3 to top-seeded Morris on Tuesday at Morris.
Logan Knoshal had two hits for Montevideo.
Montevideo will play its next game in the tournament on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Morris.
