Fiesta royalty hosting car wash
Fiesta Ambassadors Jennessa Runia and Samantha Van- Binsbergen will be hosting a car wash and hot dog feed as a fundraiser on Thursday, Aug. 9, from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Bill’s Supermarket. Proceeds will go for breast cancer research.
Chippewa County Fair starts today
The 132nd annual Chippewa County Fair will be held Thursday through Saturday at the fairgrounds in Montevideo.
Grandstand entertainment will feature the Johnny Holm Band on Thursday, Fiesta City Speedway racing on Friday, and the Snowdrifters Demolition Derby on Saturday.
Daily admission to the fair is $5 for adults. Children under 12 are admitted free of charge.
