It's freedom of speech
While I appreciate Ms. Wright's right to her zealous comments in last week's letter to the editor, I would like to point out that Pastor Runyan was a guest writer on the Church page where area ministers give short sermons.
He comes from a Bible-based church and stated his beliefs. That's what sermons are. In religion, as in politics, there will always be disagreement.
However, the same amendment that gave Pastor Runyan the right to state his feelings also guarantees Ms. Wright the right to express hers. It's called freedom of speech.
