Applications are being accepted for the title of Mrs. Chippewa County.

Married women in Chippewa County interested in applying should request a bio-form from: Mrs. Minnesota International Pageant, P.O. Box 240537, Apple Valley MN 55124-0537. An online application can be filled out at www.mrsminnesota.com

Mrs. Montevideo will be eligible to become Mrs. Minnesota.

Highway 212 to open Sept. 10-14

Highway 212, from Monte­video to Lac qui Parle County Road 35, is scheduled to open Sept. 10-14.

Highway 212, from Dawson to Highway 75, is expected to be open between Sept. 5 and 7.
