The Montevideo girls tennis team's record dipped to 3-5 following losses to Redwood Valley, Luverne and Sauk Centre the past week.

In last Thursday's triangular meet at Redwood Falls, Montevideo lost 5-2 to Luverne and 4-3 to Redwood Valley.

Winning their matches against Redwood Valley were Sierra Frazier, at No. 2 singles; Rose Reinert and Lyndsey Moe, at No. 1 doubles; and Froya Olson and Morgan Reidinger, at No. 2 doubles.

Against Luverne, the Thunder Hawks got wins from Natasha Smith, at fourth singles; and Jessa Kack and Tina Lipinski, at third doubles.

Coach Barry Brace called Tuesday's 4-3 loss at Sauk Centre his team's best match of the year.

Getting wins for the T-Hawks were Catherine Haugen, at No. 1 singles; Olson and Reidinger, at No. 2 doubles; and Kack and Lipinski, at No. 3 doubles.
