    The Thunder Hawks lost 3-1 at home against Morris/Chokio-Alberta last Thursday. Ashley Hoehne had 11 kills to lead the T-Hawks, who won the third set 25-23 before the Tigers dominated the fourth set.

    The Thunder Hawks placed fifth in the St. James Invitational Saturday, beating Maple River in the fifth-place match.

    A Lac qui Parle Valley team seeking its first West Central Conference South win of the season pushed the Thunder Hawks to five sets before the Thunder Hawks prevailed 15-4 in the fifth set.
    Nettie Duvall's kill gave the first set to Montevideo by a 25-15 score. Duvall also notched the set point in the second set.
    But the Eagles rallied behind the hitting of Jordan Halvorson to take the third and fourth sets.
    Ashley Hoehne served the final eight points of the fifth set.
