Beware of $100 counterfeit bills
The Montevideo Police Department wishes to inform local businesses that several counterfeit $100 bills have been passed in this area. If employees suspect they have a suspicious bill, they should contact the MPD at (320) 269-8808.
Tickets on sale for hunt banquet
Tickets are on sale for the community banquet Saturday, Oct. 27, held in conjunction with the 10th annual Montevideo Goose & Pheasant Hunt.
The banquet, featuring buffalo stew, will be held at 5:30 p.m. at VFW Post 380. Cost for the banquet is $10 per person.
