President Barack Obama’s campaign told CNN today that the president will conclude his re-election campaign in Iowa on Monday. Obama will hold events in Ohio and Wisconsin on Monday morning and end with a rally in Des Moines, Iowa. Obama won the swing state in 2008 against John McCain.
Romney ad ties Obama to dictators
A television ad airing in Miami connects Obama to dictators Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. The Romney campaign ad says that Chavez said he would vote for Obama and that Raul Castro’s daughter did, too.
Partisan politics return
After a day of campaigning on a “positive tone,” Mitt Romney hit the trail today and attacked Obama over his cabinet, and Obama returned to stumping for the first time since Sandy hit the Northeast. The partisan politicking had been on the back-burner in recent days, but it was back to normal today.
Rove predicts Romney win
Karl Rove wrote today that he believes Romney will win the election next week. He believes the Republican will win at least 279 Electoral College votes.
