Swimmers in section meet today

The Montevideo girls swimming and diving team will compete in the Section 3A meet at Hutchinson today (Thurs­day) and Saturday.

Swimming preliminaries will begin at 5 p.m. today. Diving prelims start at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the swimming and diving finals scheduled for 3 p.m.

Montevideo coach Nick Patton says Hutchinson is the favorite to win the team championship.

Montevideo's best hopes for a state meet qualifier figure to be Kelsey Quig­ley, in the butterfly, and Allyssa Parker, in diving.
