Construction on 212 completed

Motorists in Montevideo will no longer experience delays as resurfacing on Highway 29 from Chippewa County Road 15 to Highway 212 wrapped up on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Construction for the project be­gan Oct. 1 and involved re­moving four inches of pavement and replacing it with four inches of new pavement, installing ped­estrian ac­cessible ramps and signal revisions. Crews will return in the spring to install wet-reflective roadway striping.
