November is Caregiver month
"There are only four kinds of people in the world — those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers and those who will need caregivers." said former First Lady, Rosalynn Carter.
National Family Caregiver Month, observed every November, is a time to thank, support, educate, and celebrate more than 65 million family caregivers across the country.
This year, there is a special emphasis on the need for all of us to help family caregivers protect their health in order to have a more satisfying life and be better able to provide their loved one with the best care possible.
Each year during National Caregivers Month, we celebrate all those who dedicate themselves to caring for others and recognize their efforts to comfort and improve the lives of their loved ones in need.
Day in and day out, more than 65 million family caregivers in this country fulfill a vital role on the care team. No one else is in a better position to ensure continuity of care. Family caregivers are the most familiar with their care recipients' medicine regimen; they are the most knowledgeable about the treatment schedule; and they understand best the dietary and exercise programs of their loved ones.
National Family Caregiver Month is a time to thank, support, educate, and celebrate more than 65 million family caregivers across the country.

Frisbee golf is nice addition
On behalf of the brethren of Sunset Masonic Lodge 109 A.F. & A. M., I would like to take this opportunity to publicly recognize Jason Buckingham for his extraordinary efforts in the construction of a frisbee golf course in our community.
Jason, along with the cooperation of numerous active community members and organizations, was able to once again prove what can be done when people come together for a common cause.
The golf course will provide hours of wholesome family entertainment for those visiting Lagoon Park and is another excellent example of putting the resources of the Montevideo community to positive use.
