The Montevideo swimming and diving team was edged 97-89 by their arch-rivals, Melrose/Sauk Centre last Thursday at Melrose.
The meet was closely contested throughout, with Melroes/Sauk Centre winning seven of the 12 events to overcome an early Montevideo lead.
Jack Spaeth won the 200 IM and 100 backstroke for Montevideo. Donovan Albers won the diving competition and Tyler Gort took the 100 breaststroke.
The T-Hawks got off to a quick start, with Collin Christians, Gort, Daylen Mitlyng and Adam Peters winning the 200 medley relay.
The T-Hawks will have a road meet against Dassel-Cokato/Litchfield today (Thursday).
