A Montevideo man suspected of at least a half dozen burglaries is now in custody.
Erik Mckenzie Fultz, 33, of Montevideo, was arrested Tuesday after Montevideo Police officers executed a search warrant at his residence on 17th Street.
Fultz admitted to being involved in burglaries on Feb. 24 at KleinBank, Feb. 25 at the Plaza Theater, March 13 at Arts Dairy Freeze, April 5 and 11 at Midwest Collision and Glass, and the attempted break-in of an ATM at Minnwest Bank's Highway 7 bank.
Fultz is being held at Chippewa County Jail awaiting formal charges.
The Montevideo Police Department is still seeking information on the attempted burglaries on Jan. 26 at Beals Optometry, Jan. 31, Feb. 24 and March 21 at the Hair Station, Feb. 24 at Jake's Pizza, and April 15 at Whitmore Slater Insurance.
Also, the MPD is looking for information on several storage shed burglaries that have occurred over the winter months at storage units on Parkway Drive.
