“Mac” McIntosh, 69, of Watertown, S.D., went to be with his beloved Lord, June 2, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 7, at Cornerstone Methodist Church in Watertown, S.D.
John David Collin McIntosh “Mac” was born in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, Dec. 28, 1943. He graduated high school from Steele, N.D. He served in the U.S. Army for three years. He worked in the manufactured housing industry where he made a hugh impact on anyone who had the pleasure of working with him.
He married Carol Hoffer, Oct. 28, 1980. He worked for Superior Homes in Watertown. He loved games, especially playing Boogle with his wife and also loved hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Cindy (and Greg) Dandewich, John David Collin Jr. (and Marge) McIntosh, Lee McIntosh, Amy McIntosh and Gabrielle McIntosh, Michelle (and Chuck) Juntunen, Bryan (and Meg) Strand; and 13 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Laura and Oscar Hoffer.
He will be missed greatly by Carol, the love of his life for 32 years, and by many family and friends.
