The Chicago Blackhawks won the NHL Stanley Cup championship Monday night, beating the Boston Bruins 3-2 and winning the series in six games.
Boston took the lead 2-1 in the third period, but the Blackhawks scored two goals in less than 17 seconds to pull ahead with less than a minute to go in the game. Jonathan Toews, Bryan Bickell and Dave Bolland scored for Chicago, with Chris Kelly and Milan Lucic scoring for Boston.
Chicago's Patrick Kane was named the Most Valuable Player of the playoffs.
It's the fifth Stanley Cup for the Blackhawks, who most recently won the championship in 2010.
