Diversified Crop Insurance Services will be sponsoring two farmer meetings in the area. The first will be held on Tuesday, July 16 in Owatonna at the Holiday Inn. The second meeting will be held on July 17 in Alexandria at the Holiday Inn. Lunch will be served. There is no charge for any of these events.
Rich Morrison, Risk Management Analyst for Diversified Crop Insurance Services, will be one of the expert speakers for those in attendance. He brings more than 25 years’ experience working in the grain business and as a commodity broker. Morrison is a popular voice with those involved in agriculture. Helping farmers to understand their risk and giving them options are what Morrison provides to the customers of Diversified Crop Insurance Services as well as prospective customers. He grew up on a grain farm in east-central Illinois and is a graduate of the University of Illinois. He provides information for farmers and agents via the following marketing tools: daily emails, phone calls, text messages, and monthly meetings via webinar for customers all over the country. Morrison is also provides market information on WLDS radio. He travels all over the country to talk to farmers about how they can embrace risk and take advantage of opportunities presented to them.
