The eighth annual L.T.D. Motorcycle Memorial Tour will again start and finish in Appleton. Riders will register at the Swift County Fairgrounds from 7:30 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday before hitting the road at 10 a.m.

The eighth annual L.T.D. Motorcycle Memorial Tour will again start and finish in Appleton. Riders will register at the Swift County Fairgrounds from 7:30 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday before hitting the road at 10 a.m.

The riders are scheduled to arrive in Montevideo at 10:30 a.m. The public is encouraged to show their support by waving flags and cheering them along their route.

The activities start Friday, with a DJ at the fairgrounds from 7 to 11 p.m. Food will be served by Jimmy's Pizza and pre-registration will be taken at this time.

The ride is dedicated to the memory of Sgt. Jesse Lhotka, 1st Lt. Jason Timmerman and Staff Sgt. David Day, who were killed in Iraq Feb. 21, 2005. Last year, 670 bikers and riders participated.

1:25 p.m.: Madison (stop for lunch)

2:55 p.m.: Clinton
3:05 p.m.: Graceville
3:15 p.m.: Johnson
3:20 p.m.: Chokio
3:25 p.m.: Alberta

The public is welcome to attend the dance with live bands starting at 6 p.m. Cost will be $10 per person. Starting at 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. L.T.D. organizers have "Killer Hayseeds," followed by "Maiden Dixie" from 8p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
