The final night of the Chippewa County Fair on Friday had the Vintage Cars came to Fiesta City Speedway along with all six regular classes.
Jon Tollakson dominated
the Pure Stock feature for seventh win of the season, and sixth in a row.
Tyler Larson took the lead to start the WISSOTA Mod 4 feature. Dustin Zieske took the lead from Larson on lap four, and went on to win his sixth feature of the year and fourth in a row.
Tim Ims jumped out to the lead at the beginning of the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. Ims held the lead until Jason Vejtruba took the lead with five laps to go. Ims regained the lead with four laps to go, but Vejtruba would retake the lead with three laps to go and go on to win his third feature of the season.
Justin Tammen took the lead to start the WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Mike Jans would take the lead on lap five and go on to win his four feature of the year.
In the Vintage Car features, Tom Oftedahl, in his 1958 Ford, held off Wayne Oftedahl and his 1969 Ford Mustang for the win in the Stock Car feature. Mick Bliese picked up the win in the Super Modified feature.
Jeff Flaten took the lead to begin the WISSOTA Modified feature. Ryan Canon took the lead from Flaten on lap 4. Scot Danzeisen took the lead at the halfway point and went on to pick up the win.
Rick Schroeder took the lead at the start of the WISSOTA Late Model feature. Nick Beyenhof would take the lead from Schroeder in the early going and win his third feature of the season and remains the only Late Model driver to win multiple features at Fiesta City Speedway.
The Advantage RV Modified Tour, presented by Watertown Ford-Chrysler, comes to Fiesta City Speedway on Friday. Races are sponsored by Kibble Equipment of Montevideo, Redwood Falls, Wabasso and Bird Island. Race time is 7 p.m.
