    The Thunder Hawks’ home match with Lac qui Parle Valley, originally scheduled for Oct. 21, has been moved up to Thursday, Oct. 17. This will be Montevideo’s final match of the regular season.
    Melrose 3, Montevideo 0
    Melrose improved its record to 14-7 overall and 9-3 in the West Central Conference North with a 3-0 win over the Thunder Hawks at Montevideo last Thursday.
    Alyssa Stern and Abby Olson had six kills each for the T-Hawks. Alexis Schmitz aced three serves.
    Morris/CA 3, Monte 0
    The visiting Tigers swept the Thunder Hawks for the second time this season on Tuesday at Montevideo.    
    After dropping the first two sets, the T-Hawks tried to stage a late rally. With Tori Kuhlmann serving for four points and getting kills from Alyssa Stern, Claire Sulflow and Alexis Schmitz, Montevideo took a 16-9 lead in the third set, only to have the Tigers win the set 25-23.
    Stern had eight kills and Abby Olson seven for Montevideo.
