City and County could save $45,000
Open offer to County and City.
Your numbers show $18,355 cash paid + $3,500 fuel profits + $9,600 hangar revenues = $31,435 total paid to the business that manages the local airport.
I am prepared to sign a contract today for $3,500 cash paid and I keep (and take risk) of rents and fuel profits. That is a $15,000 per year cash savings to the county and city.
I have been asking for a three year contract, providing $45,000 total savings to the citizens. I strongly encourage City Councilman Hay and County Commissioner Lopez to stop by my office and pick up a signed proposal. I will have it notarized by the City Attorney prior to your arrival.
Call my bluff if you feel so strongly that there is no money to be saved from free market competition.
