CCMH’s Service Excellence Team (SET) ended 2013 with a special focus for 2014. The fourth Friday of every month is designated as “JEAN DAY,” a time to raise awareness and dollars to support causes identified by the SET team, which affect employees or their family members.
A $5 payment is requested from all staff who wears jeans. The staff that works in departments, which are unable to wear jeans, due to their job responsibility is participating as well.
"Involvement is important and many still want to contribute. Our employees have established and embraced this effort since its inception. For the first four months, an average of $495 per month has been raised with a total dollar amount of $1980.00. The organizations supported thus far are: The Hope Lodge, Foundation Fighting Blindness, Autism Society of Minnesota, and the National Parkinson Foundation," said Lydia Kranz, Chair of SET.
