Jared Saue won the West Central Conference #2 singles bracket to be named WCC champ!

 

Saue had a bye in round one, and defeated Carter Lamont of Minnewaska in round two, 6-2, 6-3. He then defeated Aaron Szczur of Benson 6-0, 6-4 to be named champion.

 

In second doubles, the team of Ryan Neville and Connor Dann had a first round bye.

They defeated Mercier/Stumpf of Minnewaska, 6-2, 7-5. They then won the championship round over McKesson and Kostad of LQPV-DB 6-4, 7-5.

Jesse Erickson fell in the third place match of number one singles. Erickson defeated Brandon Repsher of YME, 6-0, 6-1 then lost to Jess Hanson of LQPV-DB, 6-0, 6-0. In the third place round, Erickson fell to Jake Pederson of Minnewaska, 6-0, 6-3.

 

Taylor Landmark had a bye in the first round of the third singles. He defeated Cody Speh of YME, 6-0, 6-1. He then lost the championship match 6-2, 6-4 To Tyler Bergman of Benson.

In fourth singles, Mitch Kwilinski defeated Sam Peters of Minnewaska, 6-2, 6-2. Kwilinski fell to Eric Hoium of Benson, 6-2, 6-1. He then lost the third place match to Hunter Olson of LQPV-DB, 6-1, 6-2.

 

The number one doubles team off Martin Moore and Tristan Voorhees had a bye in round one, then defeated K. Mattheis and Abraham of LQPV-DB 6-4, 6-2. They lost the championship round to the team of Berens and Clark of Benson, 6-0, 6-3.

 

The third doubles team of Brandon Johnson and Donny Albers had a first round bye. They then lost to the team of Heid and Evans of Minnewaska, 6-1, 2-6, 12-14.

 

They fell in the third place round 6-1, 4-6 (11-9).

 

The day before the West Central Conference meet was held, the Thunder Hawks were on the courts against Minnewaska in a WCC match.

 

The Hawks swept the doubles and won three out of four singles matches for a 6-1 win over the Lakers.
