  • Office of Broadband Development stopping in Montevideo today

  • The Minnesota Office of Broadband Development (OBD) will be coming to  Montevideo today as part of a tour of Minnesota.

  • The Minnesota Office of Broadband Development (OBD) will be coming to  Montevideo today as part of a tour of Minnesota.
    The meeting will be held at 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. in the assembly room at the Chippewa County Courthouse, located at 629 North 11th Street.
    The meeting will offer information on the Border-to-Border grant program that has $20 million at its disposal to speed up Internet connection state-wide. The grant application process will be explained for any interested community members.
    Leading the meeting will be Department of Employment and Economic Development’s (DEED) Executive Director Danna MacKenzie and Telecommunications Manager for the ODB Diane Wells. They intend to gather any feedback and input from the community in addition to explaining the grant process.
