  • School board reviews summer projects/addresses new year

  • With the new school year fast approaching, the Montevideo School Board met Monday evening for the first time since June.

  • With the new school year fast approaching, the Montevideo School Board met Monday evening for the first time since June.
     
    Following some routine business items, superintendent Dr. Luther Heller gave his superintendent's report where he first addressed the status of several summer projects.
     
    Fire panel and fire proof counters and sinks have been installed in the high school, as has a new roof. Paint work inside the schools has also been finished. Sidewalk repairs around the schools are underway and bidding for a new HVAC system in the middle school continues.
