CURE will be holding their 20th Annual Meeting & Progressive Party this Saturday, February 11th, from 12noon-10:00pm. The Chamber Girls will be attending this event and are very excited to be a part of it.
The days events start out with live musician entertainment at Java River. There will also be local foods there to sample along with a great cup of coffee! Through out the day people can tour the CURE office(including the upstairs writers retreat), pick up a commemorative 20th Anniversary poster from A to Z Letterpress, listen to guide Tom Berry and the Hudson Bay Women tell stories from their rafting trips at the public library, attend the banquet events at the Hollywood in the evening, and so much more!

CURE is an excellent local organization that focuses public awareness on the Upper Minnesota River Watershed and takes action to restore this area of the river's quality, biological integrity and natural beauty for the benefit of all. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
Angie Steinbach has been the director at the Montevideo Area Chamber of Commerce for three years now, where she helps promote local businesses. Holly Sherod has been Angie's the executive assistant for two years. Together, the two of them help organize events for the community ranging from the The 1st Annual Governor's Pheasant Opener to the Montevideo Business Expo.
For people interested in moving to or visiting the community, Angie and Holly are often the first point of contact; they are very knowledgeable about area businesses and resources, and everything they have to offer to current and future residents.
