The Cultural Diversity Council of the Upper Minnesota River Valley and Music Box Christmas will be presenting “Holiday Big Top,” the 8th annual Holiday Show at the Hollywood on Main on Friday, Nov. 30. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m.

This year’s holiday extravaganza promises to be bigger and better than ever, and will be hosted by special guest emcee. John Lauritsen of WCCO Television.

New to this year’s line-up of first class entertainment is Eilysha Sklar Performing Arts and Celestial Circus Produc­tions. The Minneapolis-based performing arts group specializes in high quality entertainment with an emphasis on fire performance art.

Also appearing are the ever popular singing group Americana, and also the Americana Daughters.

The very talented Alyssa Nelson of Montevideo will perform on ukulele, the singing sensation from Uruguay Mauricio Fernandez will be performing, as will the Milan Micronesians.

Other performers include Leo Gunnar Baker, Georgette Jones, The Prairie Arts Chorale, the Richard Aanerud Martial Arts Exhibition, and Eva Wolner.

The Grand Finale will feature the entire cast singing “Let There Be Peace on Earth.”

Admission to the production will be $5 plus two food shelf items, or $10 and one food shelf item.

In addition, there will be a bake and gift sale, door prizes, and circus concessions.

Everyone is invited to attend this very special event, and everyone is guaranteed a good time.
