It had already been a monumental week for Eric Van Gorp. He and his wife, the former Nicole Peters of Montevideo, bought a house and two days later, Nicole gave birth to the couple’s first child, Landon Eric Van Gorp.
Though he wasn’t there for the awards ceremony, Eric was part of a Fox Sports Network team that received an Upper Midwest Regional Emmy Award Sept. 26.
The Emmy was awarded in the category of New Technical Achievement: Fox Sports North Alternative Method of Production.
Van Gorp has been working for Fox Sports Network for four years as an audio engineer.
