John McGee, First Security Bank, presented a $5,000 donation to the Sleepy Eye Rural Fire Committee to help with their purchase of a new rural tanker.

John McGee, First Security Bank, presented a $5,000 donation to the Sleepy Eye Rural Fire Committee to help with their purchase of a new rural tanker. The tanker is being built by Heiman Fire Equipment in Lyon, S.D. and is expected to be completed in the fall. The rural fire district served by the Sleepy Eye Fire Department includes the nine surrounding townships and the towns of Cobden and Evan. McGee said as an ag lender, First Security Bank is pleased to support the farming community. The donation is made through the Lloyd and Barbara Amundson Charity Foundation on behalf of First Security Bank, Sleepy Eye.
