The council considered three items on the consent agenda: verified claims in the amount of $414,904.49, the sale of seized/surplus items by the Police Department, and authorizing a temporary on-sale liquor license to Salem Lutheran Church. All items on the consent item were approved.

Employee service awards were presented to two city employees. Certificates of Appre­ciation were presented to Diane Anderson and Byron Hayunga.
