The Montevideo City Council decided to keep pool fees unchanged for this year’s swimming pool season. Even though operational costs of the pool are on the rise, the council felt that it was important to keep fees unchanged so families and their children would still find going to the pool affordable.
In business on the consent agenda, the council considered and approved verified claims in the amount of $427,997.85.
They also considered and approved an application from Chippewa County Pheasants Forever for exemption from lawful gambling requirements to allow raffle and paddlewheel activities at the Montevideo Training and Community Center on April 7, 2018.
The Chippewa County Fair Association also requested an exemption from lawful gambling license requirements to allow raffle activity at the Fiesta City Speedway on April 27, 2018. The council approved the exemption request.
