The 18th Annual Flood of Jazz show takes to the stage Friday, April 27, at the Hollywood on Main in Montevideo. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., show begins at 6:30 p.m.  

“Night at the Movies” is the theme for this year’s show featuring the Montevideo High School jazz choir and jazz bands as well as the 7th/8th grade jazz band.

Guest Artist is Kenni Holmen, tenor saxophonist from the Twin Cities who has performed with Michael Bolton, Celine Dion, Tony Bennett, and Dizzy Gillespie, as well as Donny Osmond, The Rev Billy Graham Crusade, The Glen Miller Orchestra, Doc Severinson, Garrison Keillor, The Minnesota Orchestra and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra.  He has recorded with Janet Jackson, Rod Stewart, Prince and many others. Kenni is also featured with Prince’s horn section, “The Hornheads,” who have toured throughout the United States and Europe.
