MAMLN (Montevideo Area Memory Loss Network) will host a free educational spring event on Tuesday, May 15th from 1- 4:30 p.m. at the Montevideo Community Center (550 South 1st Street).

Our special guest speaker will be Theresa Klein, an occupational therapist who has been working in the field of dementia for over 25 years, as well as a published author, educator, and dementia consultant.

We encourage the general public and family/professional caregivers to attend (no RSVP needed).  Caregivers can also bring their loved one with memory loss, however if doing so, please RSVP so we know how many to plan for.  Certificates of Participation and FREE Continuing Education Units will also be available.

For questions about this event or the Network, please contact Lori Petersen; chairperson of the group and Memory Care Coordinator at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital, 320-321-8268 or 320-226-2343.
