On Monday, May 21, Countryside Public Health held an open house at their new location at the former Woodland Centers building near the intersection of Highway 7 and 17th St. in Montevideo.

On Monday, May 21, Countryside Public Health held an open house at their new location at the former  Woodland Centers building near the intersection of Highway 7 and 17th St. in Montevideo. Staff was on hand to welcome visitors and give them a tour of their building.

Countryside Public Health has a long history in Montevideo. Originally located in the basement of the Courthouse, the organization was most recently located on the third floor of the Family Services building.

When Woodland Centers moved into the former Thrifty White location last year, Countryside saw an opportunity for having their own building. They moved into their new location in November.

“We were at the Courthouse at first, then we moved to the community service office and we thought that was deluxe since we all got our own offices. Now this is deluxe!” said Boike.
