Kindness begets kindness, and Bev Knutson felt compelled to do something nice for Meadow Creek Independent Senior Living.

Kindness begets kindness, and Bev Knutson felt compelled to do something nice for Meadow Creek Independent Senior Living.

Her husband Lowell had been a resident of Meadow Creek for a short time until his death in October of 2014. “He was a client, a patient there, and he died there,” said Bev. “He was there from June 14 to October 14 of 2014.”

Lowell had been diagnosed with cancer in Dec. of 2013, then in Jan. of 2014, he became a resident of Luther Haven. In June of 2014, Lowell and his family made the decision to move him to Meadow Creek.

Bev was more than impressed with the level of care that Lowell received, and the kindness with which the staff treated him. So much so, that she felt she wanted to do something for Meadow Creek in return.
