Traveling the world and taking in the sights and scenery of other countries is often on the bucket lists of many people dreaming about their retirement years. For a group of Spanish students from Montevideo High School, that dream came true in June as they had the opportunity to travel to Spain.

Seniors Erica Loose, Alise Ochsendorf, Molly Reeves, and Emmy Enevoldsen, along with juniors Mackenzie Hoidal, Andrea Loose, Brett Smiens, Paige Smit, and Eva Wolner, all were able to experience Spanish culture and put into practice the language that they have been studying for many years.

The students were accompanied by Montevideo High School Spanish teacher Erin Lippert. This was Lippert’s seventh class trip to Spain.

The group left Montevideo on June 12, and met up with students and teachers from Stillwater before boarding the jet and heading to Spain.
