Willard Duitsman, unexpectedly had to say goodbye to his beloved wife of 47 years, Nancy Duitsman, on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Although her passing was quick, we are so grateful that her last days on Earth were spent celebrating a family vacation in Hilton Head, S.C., in the company of her entire family – four sons Pete, Paul, Tom, and Mike, three daughters-in-laws, Jenni, Melissa and Amber; and the lights in her life, her grandchildren, Jack, Addy, Hunter, Hayden, Parker, and Timothy. We made many wonderful memories that week.

To our family, Nancy will be most remembered for her generosity and creativity. She was always available to lend a helping hand to any of us in need, whatever it may be. Many people were graced by her creativity, from her teddy bears, to bags of all sorts, to the countless babies that were welcomed with her beautiful quilts and blankets. She helped soldiers by knitting helmet liners. Nancy loved to quilt, knit, and sew; and she blessed many of us with her gifts.

Nancy’s place in our family cannot be replaced, but we are grateful for her presence in our lives, and hope that in heaven she has reunited with her mom, dad, and sister, Sue. She will be missed by her brother, John. May her memory be eternal.

A celebration of life will be planned for later this year in Casa Grande, Ariz..
