Bomb squad, FBI assisted by Montevideo Police

The Bloomington Bomb Squad and the FBI arrived in Montevideo just before noon today. With assistance from the Montevideo Police Department and the Chippewa County Sherrif's Office, they blocked off Northdale Park and surrounded a trailer inside. After the FBI called for those inside to come out, it appeared that two men were taken into custody. At this point it is unclear what caused the incident, and the FBI has said all information will be out at a later date. Neighbors in the area said that the residents were known to wear army camo and boots, and that there were often anti-government signs posted on the lawn. The FBI has said no one is in any danger.
