The Montevideo swim program has gotten several upgrades recently, thanks to people and businesses in our community and surrounding communities.

Last summer, the Swim Club started fundraising to raise money for new equipment for the program. With the help of local business, families, and friends, the program has raised enough to get new training items. Since then they have been able to raise enough money to replace the old starting blocks and get new relay take-off pads, kickboards, zoomers, a power tower training device, and a touch pad cart.

“It’s wonderful to see interested parents support the swim program, and have local businesses provide the needed funds for upgrades to provide a safe, lifelong activity for our community. We are thankful to the coaches and parents who worked tirelessly to see this effort to completion very quickly,” said Keith Olson.
