Youth firearms safety classes will be held Sept. 9, 13, 16, 20 and 23. 7-9:30 p.m.
Classes will be held in the Montevideo Senior High School cafeteria from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.,
The course is free of charge, courtesy of the Montevideo Twin Rivers Deer Hunters Chapter, but youths must register for the classes by calling the Montevideo Community Education-Recreation office at (320) 269-5026.
An optional trap shoot will be held for youths taking the course on Sunday,, Sept. 26.
