The Montevideo boys basketball team ran its seasons-best winning streak to four games with an 82-56 road win over Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Thursday.
Sophomore guard Brett Bergeson poured in 25 points in the first half, matching ACGC’s total, as Montevideo took a commanding 47-25 halftime lead.
Bergeson finished with 25 points and Colton Vien added 13 as coach Dan Douglas substituted liberally in the second half.
The T-Hawks will conclude the regular season with games at Benson Friday and at home against Minnewaska Monday.
The Minnewaska game will determine which of the two teams finishes second in the West Central Conference South standings.
