2 Meet Laura Ingalls Wilder: The Plum Creek Library System presents Meet Laura Ingalls Wilder and interactive historical pro­gram featuring Melanie Stringer. Located at the Cot­ton­­wood Public Library at 12 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 8. Free and open to all ages.

3 Meatball Supper: Calling all foodies! Watson Luther­an Church is hosting their Meatball Supper on Sun., Oct. 9 from 4:30-7 p.m. featuring a meal of meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, cranberry salad, lefse, bread, pies, coffee and milk. Adults are $10, Children 4-10 are $3.50 and age three and under are free. There will also be crafts, gift table and quilt raffle.
