With “Old Hollywood” as this year’s theme, Montevideo High School’s annual grand march, prom and daybreak will be held on Saturday.

The festivities will begin with an optional grand march at Luther Haven at 4:30 p.m.

The grand march will again be held at the Fine Arts Center, starting at 5 p.m. The vehicle route will start along 4th Street and Sherman Avenue, proceeding north on 3rd Street, then east on Eureka Avenue, where prom-goers will enter the FAC through the front (north) doors.

Spectators may bring folding chairs if they wish to watch from outside the FAC.

Prom couples will walk the Hollywood style red carpet and be introduced to the public once inside the FAC.

Following the grand march, there will be a few minutes for spectators and prom-goers to take photos in the parking lot.

The dinner and dance will begin at The Crossings golf club at 6 p.m. for prom attendees only. The dance will conclude at 11 a.m.

Daybreak activities will be held at the Montevideo Community Center, Mel’ody Lanes bowling center and VFW Post 380 from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. This year’s daybreak theme is “The Great Outdoors.”
