A Holloway man died Tuesday after a road grader he was driving collided with a train near Milan.

A Holloway man died Tuesday after a road grader he was driving collided with a train near Milan.

Ronald Munstermann of Holloway was operating the road grader on 140th Avenue Northwest at the intersection with Highway 7/59. The grader collided with a Twin Cities & Western Railroad Co. train at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Munstermann was transported to the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hos­pital and later pronounced dead.

The Appleton Ambulance, Milan Fire Department, Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the railroad, a hazardous materials team and the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
